So I am 8+ months into treatment with antibiotics, mino, rifampin and zithromax, plus lots of supplements.
I am seeing little progress in the last few months and i wanted to add in some herbs. Since my lingering problems seem to be bart related or at least the symptomatology suggests i can get relief with bart herbs.... i was thinking to add in Houttuynia.
So i bought a BIG tincture bottle from Bristolbotanicals, the 250ml one www.bristolbotanicals.co.uk/pr-1189
But i am not sure how strong this is or how much should i take. It says it is 1:3 but was wondering what do u guys think, i know there are several ppl online that used tinctures from their shop (actually i know of them from this forum) so ... do u have any suggestions ?
i am currently taking 30 drops twice a day on empty stomach, with the rifampin ...
in the fist 24h i had red rashes/stripes appear all over my hands, clearly visible and itchy. These are gone now as i take this for 3 days already.
I know bart needs combination of herbs but remember i am taking mino, rifampin and zithromax already, so it's not like the bart is not having fun time already... so for the moment i just want to limit myself to Houttuynia and i am going to tell u why: It is clinically shown it inhibits mast cells, i found at least two papers about
so i noticed that people that were treated for lyme and have lingering symptoms like mine: itchy eyes, feet, headaches etc... sometimes are diagnosed years later with MCAS... anyway houtt seems to be a really useful herb for this for multiple reasons, not necessarily related to "killing the bart"... but i just dont know how much to take ...
