Can't take the coq10 while on Mepron.

But, I'm on a two week break now...can I take it for a few days ? Maybe the beginning of week 2 for a few days?

Yes. The clinic told me to take it on weeks I'm not taking Mepron.
"This too shall pass. It might pass like a kidney stone, but it will pass."

FYI regular coq10 ahs very very poor bioavailability

however, a recent study showed that the Mito supplement actually does work

http://www.sci-news.com/medicine/mitochondrial-antioxidant-mitoq-blood-vessels-05936.html

"MitoQ, made by chemically altering the naturally-occurring antioxidant Coenzyme Q10 to make it cling to mitochondria inside cells."

it on amazon

Ubiquinol is said to be absorbed much more than CoQ10. There is debate on that, but that's the word around the block.

Ha! I just looked this up a few days ago before buying ubiquinol! It seems there is still debate on whether or not you can take CoQ10 with Mepron/Malarone. I was going to take it in between pulses. Anyway, I’ve quit Malarone- it’s just making me crazy at this point.

This is an old article: http://lymemd.blogspot.com/2008/12/coenzyme-q10-and-mepron.html?m=1
Lyme, Babesia, Bartonella. Symptoms began 5/2016, didn't start treatment until 9/2016. Slow but steady recovery.

Yes, there certainly is an ongoing debate.

From Horowitz book:

/books.google.ca/books?id=04NzCwAAQBAJ&pg=PA397&lpg=PA397&dq=mepron+and+CoQ10+-+don%27t+take+together?&source=bl&ots=LHqa3GjCoY&sig=_lgTtB4krCyhg3VuXW0AcdYapNQ&hl=en&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwiu3dOKt-zaAhUR0mMKHYFVBBA4ChDoATAFegQIABBF#v=onepage&q=mepron%20and%20CoQ10%20-%20don't%20take%20together%3F&f=false

It wouldn't let me copy and paste the excerpt. but it said to supplement with CoQ10 when NOT taking mepron/malarone.
