Hello Szabo246. The simple answer is yes. Chocolate has sugar and caffeine in it, as well as milk (if it isn't dark chocolate). All of these things can weaken your body, hence causing a flare-up. Try to avoid all sugars, caffeine, dairy products, food allergies, food sensitivities (different than an allergy), inflammatory foods in general. Your body is most likely already inflamed, so you don't want to give it something else to make it more inflamed. It's all cumulative unfortunately, and will lead to worse symptoms, many times even if you only eat something once.
