Hello everyone,

I am late stage, chronic Lyme disease.

Started treatment March 17th doxy, and the cowden protocol. With a probiotic, and a gi restore treatment. I also am taking vitamin c and B12 spray.

I herxed with this in 2 days after starting, then had 2 days of a "good feeling" then back to herxing.

I took a weeks break and was switched to cefuroxime as my antibiotic. Everything stayed the same. But this time the herxing is slowly building each day.

Right now my brain isn't working/ processing like it should be. So please have patience with me.

My question:

I'm looking at essential oils to help me in this fight against Lyme.
positive for bands: Igm 41; IgG 93/83, 66, 58, 41, and 23.

Human herpes virus-6
Chlamydia pneumonia
Mycoplasma pneumonia

Hi SickKitty,

There are a number of threads in the archives discussing essential oils.

My sister is an oil enthusiast and sent me some pages from the book Your Brain on Oils which claimed that Northern Spruce and the blend Purification (Lemongrass, Citronella, Rosemary, Lavandin, Myrtle, and Melaleuca) have some effect against lyme. This makes some sense to me as I’ve seen rosmarinic acids come up often in studies. I know she’s recommended others for brain fog but alas I haven’t tried them and so can’t remember lol.

I haven’t tried oils yet. I’m doing Buhner’s herbs and I occasionally use oils topically for pain but that’s it.
