I live in Camas Washington, willing to drive.
My doctor told me I was positive for Lyme today and that it’s beyond his scope to treat it. He is also trying to find someone to refer me to.
This is not a fresh case of Lyme, this is a diagnosis after several years of misdiagnosis.
Thanks for the help

Hi and welcome back to our forum,
Sorry you have Lyme , but glad you have found us.

You may want to consider testing through igenix for co infections , many that have Lyme also have one or more co infection as Borrelia rarely travels alone.

We do encourage you read our "New to Lyme" start here thread at the top of the page if you haven't already.

It would be wise to begin using detoxing methods, eating healthy, and eliminating any sugar, gluten or alcohol.

Build your immune system up.

Take care and I wish you the best of healing.

I’ve seen a doc in Bend OR who I highly recommend. Email me if you would like his name. His wife and son had Lyme and he treated them. They are much better now.

Sheeks175, I messaged you. Im wondering if it’s the same guy already on my list that came recommended. . Bend is about 3 hours away from me, going my consult here in Portland tomorrow goes well. Thinking about driving 6 hours round trip for an appointment, makes me sleepy just thinking about it! But you do what you gotta do right?

I have a couple names for you in the Seattle area if you'd like them. Feel free to message me for them, however, I am pretty new to all of this as well and haven't even started my protocol yet (out of fear and being overwhelmed at all the things I'm supposed to take!).

Rare squirrel, I’d love the names but your email is not enabled. Mine is if you just want to message me?
It can definitely be overwhelming, if I haven’t had a major health problem already in my past I’d probably be more overwhelmed than I am now. Now I just feel like, great, I thought all my tough stuff was over. Just think, the sooner you get started the sooner you’ll be feeling better!
Thank you smile
