Zithromax is also sending me over the edge. I'm ok until that is added to my regimen, which is a sign it's working. I go to therapy twice a week right now and I'm on pristiq. If you consider ssri or ssni please be cautious, many with Lyme and coinfections react poorly to ssri. Some ssri make me suicidal, others make me lose time. It is very common for Lyme and co to cause treatment resistant depression, psychosis, etc. The bugs are literally in your brain, so as they die from the antibiotics, the toxins from die off good your brain and body causing lots of symptoms.
I was taken off meds for two weeks ago and started slower because I was suicidal. Just added back the azythrimax Wednesday and the mental herxing is starting again.
Detox, detox, detox and keep your doctor posted. I agree that you need more then one day in between, but either way please know that this will pass. My therapist is really helpful right now, journaling, art, Epsom baths with meditation music. Find something that normally makes you happy and force yourself to do it. The fastest way out of depression is action even if going for a walk, doing art, meditating etc is the last thing on Earth you feel like doing. It will help. Especially stretching or light exercise, it will help increase good chemicals in your brain.
So sorry you are going through this and praying that you wake up tomorrow and the toxins have cleared and you have a better day.
Lyme, bartonella, mycoplasm. 2018, in treatment, abx and glutathione.
