Hi LovestheLord - Welcome!
Sounds like you may have the coinfection - bartonella as well. (feet feel like walking on glass) - as well as the paresthesia - could be bart (or lyme)
No, the doxy dosage is low - it really should be 200 mg twice daily.
And what is the flagyl dose on the two days you take it?
Is this a Lyme literate Dr. you're seeing for treatment?
Maybe he is planning on increasing your dose of doxy and adding in another antibiotic in a few weeks?
Some herbs that are good : Japanese Knotweed.
I also like Hawthorne - to protect the heart and blood vessels.
We do encourage our new members to look through the information contained in the thread: "New to Lyme?..Start Here!" It's packed full of useful information.
BTW - are you detoxing? The detoxing helps flush out the toxins that accumulate from the die-off of bacteria. This causes inflammation and can result in an increase in your current symptoms plus new ones appearing.
- Drink lots of water
- Take warm epsom salt baths
- Dry brush your skin prior to baths and showers
- light exercise
- Take something for the brain: Nutramedix Pinella nerve/Brain cleanse or Jernigan's Neuro-AntitoxII CNS/PNS
- lymph massages
- take a binder (a couple hours away from your herbs, vitamins, antibiotics...food)
