Hi and welcome to our forum,

Sorry that you have Lyme.

You will need to enable your email in your profile to receive responses from other members.

I have seen others from your area on here in the past, so just keep checking back to see if anyone chimes in.

While your waiting for an llmd appt. is is important to begin detoxing, avoid sugar, alcohol, gluten and stress. Try to get plenty of rest, its important to healing.

Build up your immune system.

take care and i wish you the best of healing.

If you drive south you can see Dr Y in St. Louis-who I believe is the worlds best at parasite and dental issues. Often they are the cause of a lowered immune system and when fixed your health can be regained.
Dr. North to Fond du lac try Fox Valley Wellness-has treated lyme with many modalities.
O would see both

My daughter's immunologist outside of Chicago referred us to Dr. B in Waukesha, WI for possible Lyme. We have a consultation with the nurse practitioner there this week!

I see an Internal Medicine doctor (Dr. Z) in the north side of Chicago. He is not an LLMD but has been treating Lyme for 25 years. Send me an email if you are interested.

If he's been treating lyme for 25 years - wouldn't he be lyme literate then?

Are you saying he isn't an ILADS member? or?
