I’ve been doing ok with my anxiety recently, not sure if it’s coincidental but I have ran out of my cortisol calm supplement that I take and haven’t taken it for a week.

I’ve been having low back pain that shoots down to my leg for the last 5-6 days, woke up this morning. And out of nowhere have convinced my self I have ovarian cancer, I’ve been googling all morning instead of spending time with my toddler, I feel awful, sick to my stomach.

Any ideas what can help with this anxiety? Something immediate would be good. sad

Epsom salt bath and lemon water can be done immediatly.

If you have any of these on hand, they may help: Jernigan's Neuro-Antitox, burbur pinella, Alka-seltzer Gold, kudzu root, Japanese knotweed, fish oil, curcumin, any kind of binders.

All my suggestions are based on the assumption that either toxins or brain inflammation are contributing.

Szabo - ugh...... I've been there so many times...and worked myself up into a frenzy. (googling too much)

Step away from the computer and drink that water with lemon... have a bath.... try to get your mind off of it (i know - easier said than done)

Thank you both, what a horrible day... will try stay off google and hoping I regain some kind of logic soon.

Cried my eyes out when my husband got back from work... feel a bit lighter for it just dreading waking up tomorrow and feeling like I did today.

Maybe logic will find its way to me again overnight.

Hang in there Szabo246.

When you get that anxiety or feeling down, take that toddler of yours and go outside if you can for a walk, fresh air and sunshine can help.

You can also read a funny book to your child you know the ones that always make them giggle.

Just hearing a child laugh can help make us feel good.

Its easy to let our minds worry and wander away thinking the worst but just redirect your actions or thoughts and try to move away from those thoughts that cause you anxiety.

Take care, Jo

Thank you Jo. I feel so guilty, poor little one really didn’t get the best of me yesterday, black cloud is a little more gray this morning, will aim to keep busy and rationale smile... and staying off google!

Ordered some more of my cortisol calm supplements yesterday which I believe helps a lot with my anxiety. Should be arriving today so fingers crossed that will help too.

I was really depressed for awhile when my older two were little. I vividly remember taking them for a walk on a sunny spring day and feeling horrible. But they were having fun, and they don't remember me being miserable at that time. So don't feel bad. And today is a fresh day. Getting out helps when possible because the burden isn't on you -- the world is entertaining for a little kid. Hope today is better!

Thank you Dahlias, today isn’t as bad smile I have cleaned, cleaned some more been out for a walk and played with my little one smile anxiety is such an awful thing and so hard for people to understand. My husband tried but bless him I think he just thinks I’m a bit dramatic.

I am due on my period too which doesn’t help the anxiety.

Aw, man, that makes it that much harder. But I'm so glad today has been better! :D
