Hi friends!

What are the top 6 or so Lyme killing herbs?
and what are your hacks for when you take herbs/abx (for example I take mine on an empty stomach along with 3 of Dr's Best brand proteolytic enzymes in hopes that they break up the bio film and cysts.

Thanks so much for sharing your thoughts - and hope each day gets easier.

when you say "lyme" do you mean the borrelia bacteria specifically? Remember "lyme" is a term given to a host of symptoms that are induce by borrelia and co-infections.

So which bacterial organism are you referring too?

Also do you mean herbs that directly kill borrelia and co or do you want people to also include immune modulating herbs? Or cellular protective herbs which keeps cells in optimal health to deal with lyme (including aiding in the attack of borrelia and co)?
Lyme (Igenex) - Positive IFA and WB bands 23, 31, 41
Ehrlichia (Igenex)
Mycoplasma (Labcorp) - Score: 595

ABX Treatment: 03/2016-04/2016; 7/2017-9/2017
Buhner Protocol for Borrelia, Babesia, Bartonella and Mycoplasma (treating everything to be on the safe side): May 2016 - Dec. 2016; 8/2017 - Present

This is how I see it
Oil of oregano(wildcrafted) and monolaren/lauricidin - they kill not just lyme but some of the co-infections
next are the buhner and cowden herbs (in no particular order)
- cat's claw/samento (samento is TAO free cat's claw), japanese knotweed, banderol, teasel root - these are used only for borrelia.
There are others but these are the only ones I have tried myself.
they were easy to get and I herxed from them.
As with lyme some work better for some people than others. Buhner says only 10% find teasel root effective as a killing herb. It works for me though.

Sierra - my links do not work on this site I think it is because I am in Australia
This is a link for monolauren in the treatment of lyme disease.......http://www.ppt-health.com/disease-protocols/lyme-disease/
I couldn't find anything with a study of oregano oil. A few years ago there were a few about, these days they are saying that it kills lyme but it isn't penetrating enough. From personal experience I found oregano oil hard to take it is a mucous membrane irritant and it was tough on my stomach. But it did do a lot for me in picking up my energy and I did herx from it.
I think the Buhner herbs are probably the best because that is what I am taking now.

Ceylon cinnamon capsules have been hitting me the hardest lately, even more than oregano. Pretty sure it kills way more than lyme too.

Hyperlink for that site: www.ppt-health.com/disease-protocols/lyme-disease/

For the links to work - you need to add the coding at the start and the end of the link.

Andrographis
Bidens
Alchornea
Isatis
Sida acuta
Cryptolepis
Houttuynia

listed in no particular order and all are incredibly powerful killing herbals for Lyme and co-infections

In Stephen Buhners co infection books, he explains what they do. If taken along with the other supportive herbals he suggests for each protocol they can help you heal.

We not only need to kill, but to restore, and rebuild the damage done.

For me the ones that hit the strongest are JK, Sida acuta and Cryptolepis.

Along with water, sleep and decent diet, here are mine in no particular order and I haven't ventured into the herbal bin too far as my budget doesn't allow for things:

as far as the stuff I have tried and know produces a kill/die off i.e. herxheimer effect are:

Grapefruit seed extract
Banderol ie. Otoba Bark extract
Samento ie. Cats Claw
Teasel Root Extract tincture
Resveratrol Japanese Knotwood
Raw Garlic
and/or Onion (anything with Allicin in it)

those are enough to get started, I call it a freestyle Buhners protocol..

those can get you pretty far into bactericidal-ville,

now how to control other symptoms and max elimination from there

Cilantro and Lemon Juice for chelation, detox, elimination

and a bunch more which can get cumbersome and pricey and you'll have bottles of supplements everywhere like I do lol..

but a raw veggie (keto/paleo) diet rich in micronutrients goes a long way too.

edit: removed herbs I haven't tried or know little about

It's not herbal but niacin has been kicking my butt lately more than anything else.
