I think it's safe to say most of us have one or both. I'd like to know how you're all treating these viruses? Are they on your radar? What does your LLMD think? What have you done? Has anyone managed to get rid of them?

I haven’t been diagnosed with either of those.

My former LLND never discussed those - and my current practitioner hasn’t either.

I know some people have taken anti-virals - not sure for how long though.

Yes, most of us have elevated levels of these "opportunistic" viruses due to our compromised immune system. Rotating in some anti-viral Rx like Valtrex or Famvir is helpful. OTC and herbal remedies like Colloidal Silver, Lomatium, and Monolaurin are also beneficial.

I wonder if I should get tested for them?

I don't have fatigue as a symptom...what are the other symptoms?

I literally just tested positive for EBV but as for what to do, so far I have no clue. I can't take antivirals but my ND wants me to start Monolaurin 300mg once a day and build up to 900mg 3x a day! I've already spent so much on supplements and things and am afraid to take anything else because everything makes me feel horrible. Has anyone else taken Monolaurin for EBV or anything else?
Lyme positive ELISA but Neg WB IgG bands 23 & 30, IgM 23 (by CDC standards)
Mycoplasma IgG 1434
EBV Reactivation:
Early Antigen Ab, IgG >150.0 U/mL
EBV Ab VCA, IgG >600.0 U/mL
EBV Nuclear Antigen Ab, IgG 130
Candida Lusitaniae Positive
Bartonella & Babesia Neg but Highly Suspected
Celiac Disease and Gastric Sleeve
Hyper-Hypersensitivity making treatment nearly impossible!

most of the treatments against viruses are very weak and non working. the only real treatment is a healthy immune system.

i've been using antivirals for EBV with zero success in the past. actually i was getting worse on them (and never recovered or felt better afterwards).

viruses are going nuts because your immune system is a train wreck. it's a train wreck because of lyme. treat lyme and the immune system will bounce back and pacify everything. viruses, SIBO, candida, bartonella, etc... all these are not real disease causes. they are effects of dysfunctional immune function.

of course if u stay for years with chronic untreated lyme, you have much higher chances to get cancer, just because your immune system is key at killing cancer cells in their infancy. this happens monthly in your body, every 3-4 months your body produces a few cancerous cells. but in 99.9% cases your immune system will eat them faster than they can replicate.

well if your immune system is weak, then that 99.9 becomes 99%, then 98, then 95.... and in case of HIV/AIDS every 4-5 years you have a really good chance of getting cancer and die of it. if not, candida will kill you for sure.

luckly with lyme things are not that gloomy, the immune function is not destroyed as with AIDS, it is just less powerful...
