Hello guys,
Do you also have phases in which you get strong pain in the back, neck or pelvis when/after walking / moving? and sitting / lying (rest) gets better again? This is very changeable and only in phases. Often I can walk several kilometers without pain, on some days it is only a few 100m and the back, the pelvis starts to hurt (especially if the other symptoms are worse: weakness, twitching, shooting pain, tingling etc...) and only rest (sitting/lying) gives relief. Is this also typical? Because i often read that pain is typical at night and in rest. I'm sorry if my english is not perfect

Hi! Welcome to the forum. Yes, I used to get pain after walking. Mine was worst where my hip joins my back -- I guess that's part of the pelvis? That has resolved with treatment. Are you treating for Lyme and/or co-infections?

Lyme, babesia, mycoplasma pneumonia. Diagnosed May 2017. Neuro symptoms began September 2017. Treating 11 months so far.

welcomb to the club.

All over body pain from the simplest daily moving is pretty common with lyme. Those not in pain are very lucky.

Lyme creates a lot of muscle and fascia tension, that might not reviel itself (might not hurt) till you do more physical movement than just inside your living area. The extra recovery time required makes this worse.

Some people need to keep moving a little all day, as rest after a few hours can result in more stiffness too.

Stretching wont do much for most of us, rolling on foam fitness rollers , soft ball ect helps loosen the body via more blood flow. Stretching does not increase blood flow, hardly at all.

Thank you so much for your answersmile Unfortunately, I do not have a definite diagnosis, but there is much to suggest. The doctors find nothing and I jump for a year from doctor to doctor. I have muscle twitching all over my body, shooting pain all over my body, muscle weakness and muscle ache, tingling in my arms, legs and food, neck pain, jaw tense, tingling pressure pain and pricking on the scalp and face only for seconds, twitching of the face especially of the eye, night sudden awakening with palpitations and Breathless, cramps and myoclonus in the hands, stomach problems, pelvic, afford and testicular pain. I also noticed cracking in my joints, especially in my occipital joint (neck)! I had some symptoms only at the beginning, which disappeared complete. Some symptoms are constantly changing, becoming stronger or weaker. Sometimes I have them for days, weeks, sometimes only seconds or hours. And there are always relapses, where many of the symptoms get worse but then gets better again! Exercise, a lot of stress and poor nutrition (sugar and many carbohydrates) increase the symptoms. It all started with a fortuitous intake of antibiotics. I had prostate, intestine, stomach, neck problems and got amoxicillin + clavulanic acid for one week. Then it started really well with the other described symptoms (especially the muscle symptoms like twitching etc..) . Dark field microscopy said, I have borrelia, but that is controversial. Elisa is negative, but yesterday I gave blood for elispot (borrelia, bartonella, babesia, chlamydia, yersinia). Have been at a lmd for a week now. My GP can not find anything and does not know what to do. What do you think?

And Can antibiotics trigger / pull out a lyme disease? For months I had been feeling bad with stomach, circulatory, abdominal and neck, head problems. Then I took a week augmentin. Here I felt very bad and weak and dropped it off after a week (originally taking it because of the abdominal pain). many other typical Lyme disease symptoms such as shooting pain, muscle twitching all over, muscle weakness, tingling, joint cracking and much more have developed straigth after the antibiotic therapy . And I have had these symptoms for half a year now. That sounds very clear right? Could this be lyme?

It sounds like you had a herx reaction. That's when the medication kills some of the bacteria, releasing toxins. It sounds like you're on the right track! Take a look in the thread for new members for ways to detox.

Herxing wont last that long, but you may have awakened the lyme bacteria there are the co0infections too.

The standard lyme test today is Igenix antibody testing, their basic is under $220 I believe, its not insurance covered.

Other lyme related tests which are immune "markers" good for tracking but not diagnosis is cd-57, and C4a.

Treatment:

- herbs, many options, LLMD/herbalist or on your own.

- or several months of continous Rx of doxy with a LLMD.

All of your symptoms sound very much like Lyme and coinfections.

I had the same thing happen to me after taking Augmentin for a week in December for a sinus infection. I had some improvements just before that, but after finishing the Augmentin, many of my symptoms got much worse and lasted for months. I still feel worse off now, 5 months later. I don't understand that. I have not heard an explanation yet that makes sense to me.
