I'm curiously, but i've seen three articles where compare doxy vs rocephin and finally there is a little better % of succes with doxy at late stage neuroborreliosis, and less relaprelapsedse. Does it mean doxy is better than rocephin?

There is something that my doctor said me that made me think. People know the effects of high doses IV antibiotics and effects of low dose oral antibiotics.

It's different for everybody and each should always be used in combination with other ABX at different phases of treatment. I think IV Rocephin should only be used for the sickest of patients or with folks who's gut can't tolerate taking any oral ABX.

I was on IV Rocephin for 13 months with many various combos, then used IV doxy for the last three months before pulling the PICC.
