Hey guys. I'm at a loss right now! I have been treating holistically for 1.5 years, and my Lyme symptoms are dramatically less than they used to be. 1.5 years ago, I had 7 positive bands on the Western Blot (CDC Positive). I wanted to re-test to see if I came back negative this time (at least with less reactive bands). I had not taken anything for Lyme in a few months because I was feeling fine without it, but then right before my second test, I started back on my treatment. I consequently began herxing, and was herxing at the time of the second test. Now, my second test just came back positive (I don't have the breakdown of the bands yet). I'm wondering if our antibodies can increase as a result of treatment. In other words, if i had gotten re-tested BEFORE starting back up with treatment (while I was feeling really good), would it still have come back positive I wonder? Do you guys find your antibodies increase while herxing? I feel like this Western Blot may not be accurately reflecting how infected I am. Thanks!
