Hi Nellie2929,

I like Oregon's Wild Harvest. I think you can get it for about $19 for 90 capsules at Sprouts, not sure about the cost. It's a really good one.

Ok, Just called Sprouts and it's on sale for $21.99 today and is usually $6 higher. You can also check on ordering it online.

I like Eclectic Research brand. I'm not sure how the price compares.

I haven't tried it yet but Pacific Botanicals has a 1lb for $14.25. It is considered one of Buhners top sources. He has it listed as the best in his book.. So that is where i am about to get mine from. Mountain rose herbs another one of his recommended sources has it for $14 a Lb.

We got ours from in seed form Mountain Rose Herbs, a great source, and ground it in 1 cup batches. It was their suggestion to grind the seeds as needed so they're always freshest that way. $13.00 per pound. I love that place.

I just get Natures Bounty 1,000 MG from CVS or really anywhere. It's really cheap and always has kept my liver enzymes low or has brought them down when they were high.

I am in Australia so the cheapest option for me is to buy 500 grams of the herb wholesale. It is about $19.00 AUD. The milk thistle seed powder is stronger than the milk thistle powder. You are meant to take around 1 gram a day but there are no issues if you take more sometimes, so as you can imagine it lasts a long time. I just put it in my smoothies along with some other herbs I take. I used to buy from herb wholesalers in America when I had a CFS diagnosis but Australia is catching up.

Can anyone tell me when if milk thistle is to be taken away from my lyme protocol. It seem all that Im taking for lyme is "killing" or "detoxing" and isn't milk thistle helping heal? I just don't want to be defeating the purpose of taking it.

Thank you so much.

Mister Mike, that's a very good price on Sage Woman Herbs. I'm paying almost double that.

I'll give them a call tomorrow and see if they could possibly contain any allergens. Most brands are not very good for me because of allergies. Their website is impressive and gives very good information about quality. I see they are out of Colorado.

Thanks for the information. Keep your fingers crossed for me.
