exocrine pancreatic deficiency

hi all i went to germany becouse doctors wont help in denmark and the test in denmark show exocrine pancreatic deficiency
and the doctor in germany say that i have it but i dont know why becouse all the scans havent showed any inflamation on my pancreas?is it possible to get from something else?i have to take digestive enzymes pangrol 25000 1 with every meal there is amylase lipase and protease in it
but i have some at home from doctors best where there are alot more enzymes in i think its around 15 enzymes somebody know the different is 1 from doctors best the same high dosis or do i need more pills of them to get the same effect from pangrol?

While the following article is discussing systemic enzymes, perhaps it's worth considering, as he mentions that just because a label shows more milligrams of an ingredient doesn't always mean it's better:

Again, this is regarding the Zymessence systemic enzyme formula. I've taken this with good results, but, obviously, not as a digestive enzyme.

Hi alunke,

Personally, I do agree with The Dude that more is not always better. Doctors best is a pretty reputable brand. If switching is something you want to do, you can try it and see if your digestion is altered at all (worse/better), you can probably go back to the pangrol. Do the doctors have any opinion on switching? If your gut is improving with treatment/diet and disease was the original cause, it is generally good to taper off enzymes slowly - you also don't want your body to get used to those supplements. I would double check with the physician, local or the one in Germany if you are able to get a hold of them.
