I didn't look at it...but no, I don't believe chronic lyme (and coinfections) can be 'cured' in 60 days.

I don't like the use of the word 'cure.' I hesitate to say NAY to anything as I have been proven dead wrong time and again. However, especially more severe cases of lyme - even if your infection is eradicated (possible? still in the air)-healing would be longer then 60 days for recovery.

I read the article. It was over my head science-wise, but I saw some red flags.

1) Anyone proposing that they have "the cure" and outline a specific protocol to follow and make emphatic claims regarding such protocol is not someone I would trust, whether they are well intentioned or not.

2) This person, towards the end, made a dietary statement that a diet rich in whole grains and some other things would maintain your immune system at 100%. I know that's not true. Whole grains are one of the items we are advised to avoid, as it is inflammatory. Furthermore, NO DIET can be guaranteed to maintain anyone's immune system at 100%. That's outlandish and unfounded it. Restoring a broken immune system is not that simplistic.

So, no, I do not believe this.

I agree - if all we needed to do is change our diet.......

I do agree with the pill theory I have a microbiologist told me the same thing and he cured his family with doxy and garlic only. So I believe the theory there it seemed to work for me for a bit till I stopped due to gut and heart issues. I am on lauricidin only and feeling so much better will go back to the doxy and garlic if I plateau but after all I read I think lauricidin may cure it all and if you use skull cap too it would for sure it is on the pubmed site the skullcap and monolaurin killed it better than anything else including antibiotics. But they say we do not know if it works in human that way we’ll i say it is doing something for sure I am only on 20 pellets 2 times a day so far and feeling better everyday and my pots is getting better too.

Lauricidin doesn't do anything... I've been taking it before lyme and i have chronic lyme. I took the best pure lauricidin and didn't do anything

that post about cure is nonsense, however who knows what might work for some people. but wouldn't expect this would work for everyone.

related to monolaurin, i have been on that religiously since January, along with Oil of Oregano. last four months with Mino-Azithro-Rifabutin, i am starting to feel better. who knows what is causing me to feel better. i am back to ride my mountain bike 8 or 9 miles a day, did that 5 days last week.

there is more evidence mounting about monolaurin and essential oils, i plan to stick with monolaurin and oil of oregano for the long haul.

Oriol, i wanted to ask you how you are doing with the zanehellas oil of oregano extract. I bought some of the Zane Hellas softgels, at 86% carvacrol...still waiting for it to arrive.

The monolaurin and oregano oil was what made me better but it was a slow process. I took no abx and no diet changes.

elvin, you recall how long you were infected prior to starting, and how long you the monolaurin/oil of oregano started to work. thats good you were able to do it with no abx and no diet restrictions.

i am doing the no sugar, low or no dairy, low or no gluten diet. i was infected 18 months prior to starting any treatment.

wish there was more research on monolaurin and oil of oregano and their role specificially with coninfections bartonella, babesia, erlichicia.

so relatively short term infection...glad to hear its going well with it. i haven't noticed any difference in the Inspired Nutrition brand versus Lauricidin, i have almost completed the first container of Inspired Nutrition at 1 scoop twice a day.

i just received the Zane Hellas Oil of Oregano, at 86% carvacrol. i am going to work that into my routine. i have been taking Design for Health Oil of Oregano for months. one in the AM and another in the PM, the past two months i have been pulsing it, prior to that i have been taking it daily.

going to transition over to the Zane Hellas. I took one last night, so far so good.
