Hey there!! Absolutely no shame in taking anti-psychotics.
I used to be on zyprexa for a couple years and it helped out a lot. It still does, but I don't think I herx on it. I haven't taken it since starting doxy, quitting it 45 days in, switching to an LLMD, and starting her protocol a month ago.
I may try it again with her approval as my mental state is pretty horrible as of late and I'll post here if I have any herx response.

I agree - sometimes antipsychotics are needed - especially when we're dealing with someone who has schizophrenia.
They are sometimes used 'off-label' as well.
But, they are prescribed to the elderly way too often and 'willy nilly'.... which was my father's case...and unfortunately we're currently dealing with the same for my MIL.
