is that under the skin or is it a regular scratch with a scab?

That does not look like what I used to get, from bartonella my scratches were long raised puffy like scratches. How are you feeling?

That looks like a normal scratch or light cut to me. My bart scratches never looked like that.

Hi isitLyme,

Yes, I have had a few of the ones like in your image, but I do get the classic cat scratch(stretch mark) looking ones, usually when I herx they come out more. They are like 3 to 4 scratches in a row , next to each other.

I also have had chicken wire, honey comb looking rashes appear out of the blue.

Bartonella is strange and its possible that we could be dealing with different types/strains of bart, not just the classic cat scratch fever type.

Hang in there and keep fighting Bart.

Malarone and other babesia herbal treatments have made me have more Bart herxing.

Never had the cat scratch. Strange. One unexplained thing is that the bart or babs or whatever atacked mainly
the left part of my brain, because the sound sensivity and tinnitus is on that side. On the right side also but much much more weaker and no sound sensivity there.
Also popcorn feeling pooping in random points on the head along with cold and hot water drips sensations inside the head and on legs.

I'm sorry isitlyme that you are suffering with these symptoms.

I understand how it feels to have neuro head symptoms, no fun at all.

I am so much better than in the beginning of treatment, but when I herx I do get a few of the older neuro symptoms back but much less intensity.

Hoping that with continued treatment your symptoms go away for good.

Do you use any herbals like Uncaria rynchophylla for the neuro aspect of it?

Buhner recomends it for neuro lyme .

This could very well be caused by a specific bartonella strain or a bartonella-like-organism (BLO).

Can you provoke these scratches by doing dry skin brushing? When do these scratches usually appear? After taking abx?

Do you sometimes get multiple scratches in one spot? Are the scratches parallel to each other?
