Yes, I've had my levels tested too when I would take normal vitamins. The levels would rise but I didn't feel anything from them. You should be feeling something from vitamins, I noticeable calmer feeling if they really are being absorbed. I honestly think that my tests were false somehow. The way I see it, everyone who has Lyme can't possibly be absorbing nutrients even if tests are saying they have normal levels. Researcher have shown Lyme bacteria to poke holes in the stomach lining furthering leaky gut.
What do you feel? I don't agree that you will always be 'feeling' something from vitamins.
Sure, if you're low - say in iron....B12 - you may feel more tired...and once you supplement, you'll feel better.
But if you're not low...in something, taking that vitamin you won't necessarily 'feel' anything.
I do believe the tests are valid.
My Vitamin d was on the lower side of normal...I upped it some and had more 'sun' time - it rose...but I don't feel any different.
Not everyone with lyme has holes in their stomach lining and leaky gut.
