Feeling really discouraged, overwhelmed, and confused.
Someone mentioned Bioenergetic medicine in another thread so I decided to give it a shot and had my appointment yesterday. She did a live blood analysis and used a machine to touch pressure points on my hands and feet to somehow gage my body's functioning.
Live blood analysis--
Said she found a lot of bacteria, that my blood is pathogenic and not what a healthy person's looks like. She found a lot of these clump-type cells that she said we histamines, she said some of the bacteria looked like vaginal bacteria. I completely freaked out because I thought I had ruled out all STIs?? Maybe it was because I'm on antibiotics for my wisdom tooth removal and was a bit yeasty?
Then she went on to say that she found strep, staph, and mycoplasma bacteria. I've been tested for EBV, CMV, mono though. I have not had a mycoplasma test because I can't seem to get one despite my asking.
Then she said lyme is definitely present? But she also didn't seem sure? She had to pull out a list of coinfections and read through it. The whole experience was quite odd with her flipping through what looked like lecture notes and comparing images to pictures in them.
She didn't say much throughout this other than some mumbling about a leaky gut, stress, allergies, how everything was elevated. Then she turned to me and told me to stay away from "that boy" that I had the encounter with 2 months before all of this started. I've hardly talked to him since, and needless to say this reaction while she was cryptically checking my body with this confusing machine made me almost pass out or burst out crying.
She then gave me a very complicated herbal protocol to strengthen my immune system, fight bacteria, and allergens which I did purchase out of desperation. The whole visit cost me about $600 CAN.
When I return at the end of September I'm supposed to see the MD they have there as well.
Do you all have any thoughts on this experience? I'm honestly so shaken and looking at my blood on that monitor made me feel more than ever like my body is contaminated and that it has turned against me.
~Reminder of my symptoms for anyone who is curious
A lot of my symptoms are specific to my pubic area... and it's unfortunate that they started about 2 months after my first ever sexual encounter of receiving unprotected oral because that sent me into a still-present spiraling fear of herpes despite several negative tests.
I've created these lovely diagrams haha
/imgur.com/a/207ZhC3 this is the first thing that appeared on my inner thigh. Then everything else started. I was convinced this was herpes. This lasted for a month and a half and itched.
/imgur.com/a/Qvo5J8O I also had this rash on my torso, it still itches often but isn't visible.
I found the images labeled "lyme" on a dermatology website.
-pubic area irritation, itch, rash. Hair has to be shaved clean all the time or it's unbearably uncomfortable.
-watery vaginal discharge (consistent for 2 months and now happens once in a while), mostly odourless be I think it has a bit of a sickly smell
-goopy brown spotting in between periods on occasion
-irregular menstrual cycle
-rashes on torso (pictured, but also others that come and go)
-muscle aches usually in groin/pelvic area (waxes and wanes)
-Inner thigh itch (waxes and wanes) Antihistamines seem to help this somewhat
-extremely sensitive skin, almost starts bleeding when scratched. Irritated by clothing
-hair thinning (I think this has slightly improved but it was terrible. I upped my ferritin so maybe that helped)
-feeling like I have a fever but temperature actually normal or below average (waxes and wanes)
-clumsiness, less articulate, some word recollection difficulty (not very severe, maybe just stress)
-nauseated after doing simple exercises (10 push ups, planks)
-round puffy face
-feeling of burning skin accompanied by redness when pressure is added (waxes and wanes) Sometimes it's just my bum, sometimes is all the way down my thighs /imgur.com/a/ABWWUh0
-nerve pain from waist down (waxes and wanes)
-back and neck aches(waxes and wanes)
-fatigue (used to be worse, but I work at home now so maybe that helps)
-occasional tinnitus (used to happen a lot upon standing but has relaxed since)
-legs constantly falling asleep (this has always happened but I feel like it's become more frequent)
-feeling of a sore throat coming on but not actually sick (happens about once a month)
-extremely itchy nose (not allergies as this does not go away on antihistamines)
-easily imprinted skin (indents from clothes, seats)
-flashes in my eyes when I shut them to go to sleep at night (rarely)
-heart beat skips (anxiety?)
-occasional uncomfortable urination
-tiny pin prick cherry angiomas on upper arms
-slightly blurry vision
-itchy hands and feet, had some pink dots on my feet (rarely)
-easily tipsy from alcohol (not always, but often I’ll feel buzzed after just a few sips of wine. I used to be able to drink a lot with little effect)
-slight weight fluctuations (gaining and losing 7 lbs)
-swollen feet, blister far more easily
-bug crawling sensations on skin
-what felt like the start of an ear infection, lasted for about a week
-strange pressure noises in ears before bed (rarely)
-minor light and sound sensitivity

Have not been able to see a LLMD yet, waiting until I move back to the USA. Currently in Ontario, Canada.
