I'm new to Babesia.

I don't have classic air hunger or night sweats but have a positive test. This infection is new to me.
So far I've only been talking A-Babs, cat's claw and Japanese Knotweed.

My LLMD Rxed Coarten. I'm starting 4 pills tomorrow for 3 days then taking Ivermectin the following week and switching each week.

HAS ANYONE EVER TAKEN THESE TWO MEDS??!

Also is INSOMNIA the result of Babs (my test also indicated Bart & Ehurlichia but no Borellia was present in this test, but we've treated it for the last 5 months thinking all my symptoms were Borellia ).

Symptoms: terrible Insomnia, horrible ANXIETY, MAJOR DEPRESSION, dark colored urine, tired, irritable, hot flashes and inability to be in hot weather (temp intolerance).

Also, has anyone tried KETAMINE treatments with Lyme? I'll start another post on this.
My Dr. recommended 2x week for 4 weeks for the depression.

I tried it once and it was the worst TRIP ever (an hour of hallucinating), but seems to relieve some depression temporarily - dr says it "resets" the nervous system to help with depression. I never followed through and am going to give it a real try this time.

Thanks for UPLIFTING responses.....

Hi Yogi, how are you doing on the herbals that you are taking for Babesia? do they help you?

I currently take Cats Claw, Japanese Knotweed, Cryptolepis, Alchornea, and Green tea for Babesia.

I am sorry but I have no information on Ketamine or Coarten. Please keep us posted on how they work for you as I am interested in finding something stronger for Babesia.

you two,

i know nothing of this drug - I used the search engine here after posting this and it appears its a popular drug that seems to help a lot of people. do a search and you'll find a lot of posts.

healingwell, i'm so new to this infection I don't even know what's working - nothing seemed to work yet. I just got tested for babs 3 weeks ago...

Never taken coartem but have heard of it being a good drug for babesia. I took ivermectin, super effective for my babesia. Gave me very strong herxes (I tend to herx a lot though with effective meds). It's generally a very safe drug.

Insomnia, anxiety, emotional lability, yeah those were all core babesia symptoms for me. I think it affects the autonomic nervous system quite a bit. I think this is a good write-up on babesia, made a lot of sense with how I've experienced babesia: conniestrasheim.org/blog/2017/3/6/a-deep-look-at-the-symptoms-of-six-major-lyme-related-infections
