I looked into the Mino thing, one thing that might help preventing the blue gray stains is high dose vitamin C. But ultimately you can still develop it with continuous high dose Mino use over a long period of time. From what i read, it's somewhat permanent, fades a bit, but it's a chemical buildup in your teeth and therefore will not go away completely once it's there.
Yes - not a stain on the outer surface that can be cleaned off.
Dave doesn't have the blue/grey stain....so I think his is different - more on the surface of the tooth...so hygiene should get rid of his.
