So I have been lurking for awhile and I just randomly reply to topics sometimes - But I'm curious if anyone else is experiencing IBS symptoms and such.
I'm 35 male - 145lbs - and used to be in great shape with the gym and energy.
Had a really stressful year in 2017 - Probably the worst of my life and I've been through a fiance being killed in front of me in 2008. Worst than that. Ended up in Nov getting really sick, once I took a vacation from work.
Symptoms were: Head aches / Body Aches / Fever / Dizzy / brain fog / Extremely tight neck / felt sick - unwell / Face hot / Elbows and knees ache sometimes warm - getting out of bed in the morning was terrible / Slightly raised lymph nodes in neck (never raised enough for any alarms from ENT or GP some were sore - some were not / stomach issues - Constipation mostly.
Ended up going to multiple Drs. All said it was Mono / EBV. So they put me on abx for 2 months - AMOXICILLIN‐POT
Seemed to help and then I got a cyst on my neck and I was prescribed another abx for that - Forget which one - was 3 weeks course.
So at that point - I seemed to be getting better (that was in Feb 2018) - started working out again, crushing it back in the gym. Felt overall great. Than in May I tanked hard - fatigue - stomach - general feeling of unwell - headaches - and so on.
I ended up going to a Dr that tests through Saliva and Urine - turns out I had a ton of parasites / mold / bacteria including Lyme. So I went on a course of Herbs and their formula for treating it.
So far it has made me feel amazing. I feel great after almost 4 months of being on it, except for my stomach and GI Tract and nothing is showing up on my tests now other than Lyme.
Every morning I wake up amazing, and then by the night time I'm full of gas and bloating - and so uncomfortable.
Does anyone else have these symptoms? I know this can be caused by Lyme and more so Bartonella or Babesiosis?
(I could have that wrong)
I eat clean - no sugar - no dairy - no gluten... I'm just not sure what else to do... I even take A-F Betafood for enzymes.
Could this be IBS, SIBO or something else? Again ... it only happens as the day progresses. I'm going to start just eating chicken. I'm not sure what else to do. HA!
EDIT: Oh, and It seems to get better as long as I have a bowel movement, so I do feel 'constipated' at times, but I go everyday and a few times a day, as long as I take Magnesium Citrate. (sorry if it's TMI)
