I find it surprising that people who are against BVT aren't doing anything to help save the bees themselves.
Kind of like caring enough about the environment to say something to others, but never recycling yourself or walking the talk.
Many BVT patients end up being beekeepers, the amount of bees used are quickly restored and a minuscule margin of the bee population.
Also, the bees used for BVT are at the end of their life cycle, they are worker bees, who are on the verge of dying.
Last, as far as I'm concerned, the beekeepers I've heard of, are making them solely for BVT. So yes, they are extra bees.
There are people dying from lyme disease, I thought the last place would be this forum for people to not understand desperation to get better.
If you knew your suffering child, who's in pain every day, could be healed by bees, would you say no? I find it surprising this forum doesn't understand.
What about the herbs we are using? Are we replacing them after harvest? Are we doing anything about the polluting Chinese factories that process them? What about the plastic bottles they are stored in? Do you think recycling means 100% recyclable?
What about the antibiotics we are using? Are we not still testing them on animals? Because we are.
What do you mean this forum doesn’t understand?

Personally if I didn’t have the fear of stinging myself with bees - I’d do it - and then again once I’m better - I’d think about
giving back - ie raising replacement bees.
I’m taking long term abx - and I dare anyone I know to tell me that I’m creating resistance to antibiotics - or I’m damaging our sea life by my abx laden pee that get flushed out in the sewer.
Stop denying chronic Lyme exists - start diagnosing us earlier when it’s easier to treat...
Don’t criticize my desperate attempt to heal myself!!
I’m all alone in this illness - theres really no support - it’s all on us and our family to navigate through this hellish journey!
Am I right ?
Sorry for the rant.
