Hello everyone - this is going to be quite the "tmi" post but I need answers.
Since forever I have dealt with uti symptoms "pre- lyme." I would get a script from the doctor for macrobid and after even one pill I would feel significantly better.
This past summer I began to experience frequent bouts of bladder pain. It was terrifying. First time it lasted for a month. I was in and out of urologists/gynos. No answers. Nothing was working. I had an "ah-ha" moment and realized maybe lyme has invaded my bladder because once I started back on Doxy for a week pain subsided.
Currently, I have been dealing with constant bladder pain. No frequency. Solely just pain, irritation and overall discomfort especially when sitting. Sometimes the pain comes with nausea which makes me feel exactly how I did a year ago when I first started dealing with Lyme.
Whats crazy is shaving the genital area causes it to flare (to which I stopped). Even scarier... I was symptom free for a month and went to a restaurant bathroom, wiped with their toilet paper and bam bladder pain.
When I eat better and take supplements I tend to feel better. I am just not sure why this keeps happening basically monthly and why I haven't been able to get rid of it.
I am beginning to work with new LLMD. I hope this issue subsides.
