now i have to add second antibiotic but i don't know what to do. I've read in stephen buhner book that.... [The most effective antibiotic for bartonella is telithromycin. (
I have the Buhner bart book too.
Telithromycin (Ketek?) is not one that is usually prescribed for Bart.
Buhner is a Master Herbalist but I wouldn’t take direction regarding antibiotic treatment from him.
He focuses on herbs and I doubt he’s keeping up with current antibiotic regimens for Lyme and co’s.
Re: bactrim - I don’t know which of the two is better - they’re usually taken together - you have to stay away from Sulfa drugs?
And mino and amoxy are also out?
My last protocol - I was taking Rifabutin, mino and Clindamycin one week -
