News to me. I felt abandoned and ignored by mainstream medicine and the CDC because the only option I was given was oral meds. Now that seems unfair because my doctors and I never gave their guidelines a chance to work. IV might not work, but I should have been given the chance before being reffered to the LLMD. The Lyme community really looks down on the CDC, but how many of us tried their guidelines before going to the LLMD?
You wouldn't have been given the IV abx treatment long enough anyway - the treatment protocols are too short.
But, your LLMD didn't think you needed IV abx?
