Here's an interesting article on MARCoNShttps://drcarolyndean.com/2018/10/what-are-marcons/
It makes sense to me that in order to treat marcons, one has to get yeast/mycotoxins under control, as this imbalance is what has initially caused it. She also mentions the role of magnesium, which is not something I read before.
Lapis wrote a very helpful post on how to treat mold/marcons in sinuses using a nebulizerhttps://www.healingwell.com/community/default.aspx?f=30&m=4106891
I finally tested for MARCoNS, and am impatient to see the results. I really want to know, as I have ongoing problems with sinuses. This is a necessary step if I want to get a hold of BEG spray. This testing really is the new "highlight" of my illness, since I had to take the swab myself, from deep in the sinus cavity. As for many tests I've done so far, there is only a lab abroad that tests for this (US in this instance, I am in the UK), so a lab here sends out the kit, and I have to take a swab and return it to them, and they send it to the lab in the US. You can imagine the cost of all of this. I am so sick of these perpetual through the roof testing prices, and was furious because again I was spending the money I don't have, and then on top of everything having to take the swab myself. I am very, very mentally exhausted. I was thinking, how the hell am I going to do this right? I'll probably test negative because I'll chicken out and won't do it right.
In the end, I was glad I did it myself, as you have to be gentle and go slowly, one of your nostrils may be obstructed, which was the case with me, so I wouldn't like some heavy handed nurse do it for me. It really is possible and is actually no big deal, provided you have a mental converstaion with yourself beforehand.
