The problem with OTC antihistamines such as Benadryl is that they only target H1 and H2 receptors and in histamine intolerance it's often H3 and H4 receptors that are affected.
Thanks JB, I had a feeling it was more complicated
how can you test/target all 4 receptors. What do you think would be the best sups to test for histamine?
I personally haven’t seen much reaction to any of them (quercertin, curcumin, vitamin c, bromelain, holy basil, and who knows what else) just the chlorophyll which may be more of an anti inflammatory or just for mold.
Also, as an interesting aside I was reading about
the role of copper in DAO production which got me wondering if part of the reason liquid chlorophyll works so well for me is the copper. Especially since my use is only occasional (as required for strong exposure). I know you’ve mentioned copper/zinc before and I have only taken the slightest toe dip into that. I dislike thinking about
these precarious pair balances.
Sorry if I’m hijacking cppoly.
