I am looking for a Lyme literate doctor in the Olney/Rockville Maryland area. Also looking for some advice on whether to seek out an infectious disease doctor instead to try and get it covered under insurance. All feedback welcome.
Hello crazy dog lady - welcome!
Yes I know an ID Dr who is lyme literate!
He is one of the top llmd’s in the US - actually in the world. He's been treating lyme patients since 2003 - maybe longer than that.
And not too far from you - Washington DC.
I fly across the continent to go to his lyme clinic.
Send me an email and I will fill you in with the details - cost... his approach... etc
Re: insurance - I’ve heard he doesn’t take insurance but you can take the bills and submit them yourself.
