Brainstorm with me on this one!
We just noticed 3 different areas (2 on back, 1 on back of arm) with stretch marks on my sickest kid. They are very faded. Of course, I immediately wonder about
bartonella! They are in odd
location for regular stretch marks, and my son is skinny (no fat at all). He has grown a lot, and he did gain 10lbs in one month after we did a different treatment. But my gut is telling me bartonella, not regular stretch marks.
But why now?
We started a new clinic/doctor 4 months ago. We are focusing on healing the body's dysfunction - not attacking the pathogens. Of course, we are also doing some things to attack the pathogens, but that is not the focus (and not focusing on bartonella at this time). My son is doing really well lately - the best he has been in years now probably. That's a bit of background.
So why does the suspected Bartonella streaks start to occur now - when he's doing much better? Is it possible that his immune system was so compromised/malfunctioning that it wasn't mounting a defense to bartonella? And now that we are really focusing on functional healing - that the immune system improved and is now taking on bartonella? We have treated bartonella numerous times in the past (abx initially and then later various herbals), but we never got a response like this.
And why now when he's feeling better???
Brainstorm with me. Thoughts?
