I have been wondering about liver flukes myself for a long time. Even at the start of my treatment with my lyme doctor they made a general reference to parasites and treated me somewhat accordingly but they never advocated any kind of testing and only half-ass suggested someone when I asked about testing.
I also have had many negative tests for parasites both through the traditional medical and one other scam artist lab that couldn't find anything in the parasite laden samples I sent them.
I get bloating all the time, respond well to coffee enemas but they aren't enough, have been through some herbal and pharmaceutical stuff for parasites.
I wonder why my lyme doctor and no one cares to test or properly examine for parasite identification. My question for you Jabele is : have you looked at pharma meds for liver fluke? I wonder why my lyme doc never recommended triclabendazole or one of the others. It seems that liver fluke can cause cancer so I get really mad when I feel horrible and bloated and nausea and see stuff in my stool and realize no one - not even the lyme doc cares.
It would seem to me that if those of us with lyme and coinfections have parasites then it would behoove us to
1. identify the type of parasite and
2. treat and eradicate the parasite
I would like to see more threads on here discussing liver fluke and what our signs, symptoms and treatments are. There seems to be more on the internet about these liver flukes, including the strange story last year about vietnam veterans and a blood test for liver flukes.

I have liver flukes too. I only see mine when I do coffee enemas. I used to have really large ones, but now I only see small ones. I'm hoping that means I have flushed them out. I'm with you. None of my doctors have ever told my anything to do for liver flukes. Even though my ND consistently says my liver is struggling. We have done homeopathics for parasites. I can't really tolerate them. But I am about
to start a new parasite herbal formula that will kill parasites and babesia. Still don't know if it will kill the liver flukes. They're a mystery to me.
