Yes milk thistle is a good idea. When I first got sick I was diagnosed with chronic fatigue I remember being told that it was a good idea to use different detox strategies along the way. Mixing it up helps helps a lot - because the body has different pathways and mechanisms to detox and it is more effective that way. I wasn't treating the lyme then, I didn't even know about it but I got better just detoxing and milk thistle was the first thing I used and within 2 weeks I picked up a lot. After that I tried different things like chlorella, barley grass, saunas,...it took me more than a decade to get a lyme diagnosis but I was a lot better than I was in the beginning by then, and it was just detoxing.
I agree with this.
Constantly change the herbs you are using and mix things up, so neither your body nor the bacteria have the time to become tolerant or resistant to anything you use. Keep the detoxing going, drink a lot of fresh water and eat a lot fresh food to rebuild as well as make the body less hospitable to the bacteria and keep the methods the body uses to remove toxins as functional as possible.
I guess you've just got to keep recycling and replenishing and build your body back up.
