I was in an ACIM study class for a few months, and one day I said to the facilitator, "This seems like the same thing that they said, a few pages back . . ." And she said, yes, the book "repeats the same things over & over." There's something about
the human psyche/ego that cannot accept these teachings (prob. because our conditioning is so pervasive). And so we have to hear them presented to the mind over & over again in different examples. I do believe that passage you quoted is the entire essence of the book. And agreed--any phenomena that changes form or passes, ultimately is not real. Nondualist, Advaita Vedanta, and teachers like Eckhart Tolle say this same thing.
