Hi! I didn’t know that about
JKW either. That’s what was written on the Great Plains lab report.
Buhner doesn’t have a book on mold that I know of. However, in his other books, in the information about
what each herb is active against, different molds are included. Look in the back of the book for references to different mold species.
JKW definitely helps but I also got increased joint stiffness from it when ramping up. I am only taking 3/4 tsp of powder 2x day. I gave up on trying to ramp up most of my herbs.
Mushrooms are fungi, so if you have fungal hypersensitivity, it could cause issues. I have eaten them a few times since knowing I had CIRS. I didn’t have any ill effects that I could tell. I do love mushrooms. I did get a big increase in chemical sensitivities with Cordyceps when I first started Buhner’s bartonella protocol, so I stopped it. I have been taking Lion’s mane tincture for a few months. I haven’t noticed any issues with it. The cordyceps I had was in powder form.
I definitely need to avoid carbs, especially sugar. My diet has been horrible for the past month. I have given in to pretty much all cravings.
I did the first 2 tests with Realtime and the last one with Great Plains. Great Plains tests for more mycotoxins, includes helpful details in their report, and is cheaper. I like Great Plains better.
Sorry to hear you’re having worse symptoms. I can’t remember - did you move or remediate? Did you do an ERMI or HERTSMI-2?
Yeah, the mold growing inside the body is one I don’t know what to think about
. For a long time, I ignored it because the doctor who diagnosed me with CIRS and followed Shoemaker never talked about
it. When I finally did an OAT test with Great Plains this summer l, I had high yeast metabolites. However, my Candida antibody tests are always negative (and I haven’t been on long term abx). That makes me think it may be mold as opposed to Candida.
I took Fluconazole 100 mg 1x day for 2 months and switched to 3 days a week Fri-Sun after that. I expected a big die-off reaction but felt nothing. It did help my bowel function somewhat, but while still taking it daily and feeling better, I started eating sugar. It snowballed from there. My bowel function has worsened again with increased constipation, likely from inflammation. I have ropeworm and have been taking Mimosa pudica for that for months. It helps me pass the ropeworm but doesn’t improve symptoms. I have been using Intestinal Mover and Formula One for parasites for about
10 days. It has helped some.
I tend to yo-yo. I feel better a few days after starting something and then feel worse again. Mentally I can’t keep up with what’s causing what.
What had the A-FNG done for you? Is that Byron White Formulas?
I’m also back on Candicid Forte. The first time I did that, it helped my gut more than anything else. I haven’t had the same breakthrough with subsequent rounds of it, but I have been taking it again since finishing the daily doses of Fluconazole.
