In my opinion, this is your problem:
read what I said
"You have to wait (...before increasing the dosage) until you reach the _load up dosage_ which is its half life plus two or three days, which is 5-7 days. (and then wait! see below)"
then continue that dosage until you have 1) hit enough that will die immediately 2) hit enough during their reproduction cycle (could be 7-28 days) or at least feel there's enough room that when they do die off you'll be ok, 3) pass the amplification effect (could be 7-21 days). THEN, and only THEN, you can consider increase the dosage, IF you don't get neuropathy and IF you feel ok. I would also add, #4 have an effective strategy against co-infections. You'll need to start over at 62.5mg for 3 weeks to get to #1 #2 and #3 and not counting #4 -- which you're basically on hold until you can attack that. If you can't comprehend this (that's OK) just gain some strength and stay at 62.5mg for 6 weeks. Your treatment will take longer if you deviate any part of this.
Yeah there’s def a method to the madness.
I was on it for 3 weeks, then took a week off due to withdrawal from my antidepressants, and now feel like I’m at square one.
I’m now at a week of a full dose (I’m ready, trust me I am) and now won’t stop until I hit 6/8 weeks of it.
Stopping in between def has a negative impact. My baseline is still better but I feel like I took a step back with my week off that I have to catch up on because I let the infection grow a bit for a few days.
When I started at 125 per day, I didn’t feel anything until week 2 in terms of herxing (around day 10-11) and I am now a week in on DSF round two and feel that the week off and I need to hit that near 2 week mark again but this time I will not take a break, slow down, or decrease (I’m also 190 pounds, weight is very important in terms of dosing everyone, the other patient my doctor sees who is on it is obese and taking 750 daily).
Will let everyone know how it goes.
What I’m understanding is people are moving on once they are on the DSF after 2-3 months and not posting anymore because they’re free and back to their lives.
My LLMD was telling me she had a patient who would not stop emailing her a few times a day and now she doesn’t email her weeks at a time.
Be patient everyone. I’m not going anywhere and will be on a full dose for a couple of months so wish me luck. I have a ton of anti herx stuff so I’ll be fine.
