Pretty bummed today as I just started experiencing some very mild neuropathy and, although I've been feeling great otherwise, I'm going to have to stop the med til it resolves. I was at 62.5 mg daily, at day 26 I think.
I have some enteric capsules on the way and if the neuropathy resolves soon, I'll try DSF again filling the empty capsules with small amounts of the ADC DSF. This should help avoid the majority of the copper complexing in theory, by allowing the drug to bypass the stomach.
My A/G ratio (liver related) was a smidge over the limit last I was tested and it sounds like the enteric capsules could help with this as well.
Also, I was trying to create a new part 7 thread but I can't seem to make new threads for some reason. Keep getting a "server error", but it seems others are creating new threads just fine. Must be a problem on my end...
Sorry to hear that. I can't say I've really noticed any neuropathy on DSF, but I'm so depersonalised I don't think I would notice anyway.
Does this mean you won't be on anything at all while you wait for the neuropathy to subside? I can't remember if you were taking anything else.
I need to think about
getting my liver function tested as well. I've been on DSF for nearly three weeks and have got up to a higher dose than you.
Going by my symptoms, I think my biggest problems are related to Bartonella. It feels like that is what is really flaring up now and I'm not convinced DSF is really doing much to kill it. Going to do another couple of weeks of DSF and then start concentrating on Bartonella. My feet are on fire since starting disulfiram and the burning/tingling is worse than ever.
