Hey All,

I hope you all are doing well and truly thank you for all of your help. I have been so truly grateful to find this group and have so much wonderful help.

I have not yet brought up the stomach issues I have been dealing with and am wondering what you all think it might be or what advice you have. So earlier this year in April I had a endoscopy done and they took some samples of my stomach lining. They found that I have a lactose intolerance and reactive gastropathy in my stomach that is unspecified. Other than that they said everything seems pretty normal (small intestine/duodenum was normal). Also they told me after the endoscopy I would not feel any pain from the small biopsies...however I have since felt pain in my stomach region that actually wasn't there before...

Now to catch up with today and recently I have had diarrhea thats been on and off for the last few weeks and stomach pain that is ramping up a bit. Also anytime I take a digestive enzyme I get major burning and pain. I am trying to stay away from them honestly even though my NP said I probably need them. I do still have my gallbladder as well.

I am not sure what to do and really want this diarrhea to go away and to get this upper GI pain near my stomach to subside as well. Any advice you have I'd be very grateful. I am planning to start Mimosa Pudica as soon as it comes in the mail as well to see what I can flush out.

Truly thanks for all!

Surprisingly it was antibiotics that got rid of my diarrhea. I never figured out what exactly it killed, but the diarrhea stopped.

My husband does wonder if I have some bug right now. I’m just never sure what’s going on with me. 🤨

I have been having similar issues lately that I cannot figure out. Mine also started with occasional diarrhea and has progressed to pain higher up in the abdomen - a strange pattern, right? For me, the pain occurs about an hour after eating, and the type of food does not seem to matter. It's right below my stomach and can be severe. Everything else is normal in terms of digestion - regularity, no blood, no fever, etc.

Does the pain have a relationship to eating for you? Have you had any testing done recently - parasites, blood counts, autoimmune markers? Some digestive enzyme formulas contain mold-derived enzymes, so they can cause problems for folks with mold sensitivity, allergies, or MCAS. If you notice that they make you worse, then I would vote for skipping them until your intestinal lining has healed!

To heal lining: slippery elm, bone broth, L-glutamine, aloe vera, marshmallow, mastic, licorice (DGL)
To stabilize mast cells: quercetin, curcumin, cromolyn sodium, khella, Ketotifen
To aid digestion: probiotics (low-histamine ones if you have MCAS), digestive bitters
Possible diets to help: FODMAP, GAPS, low-histamine
Possible diagnoses to consider: parasites, IBD, IBS, SIBO, MCAS, eosinophilic gastroenteritis, MALS, endometriosis, H. pylori, candida

Good luck, and please let me know what you figure out!
Lyme, bartonella, babesia, mycoplasma, EBV
Mold, MCAS, POTS, CFS/ME, HPA axis
Herbs, AmpCoil, DNRS, diet, nutrients, EOs

Hi, when my illness began in 2015 it took off with regular diarrea. It got increasingly better after i removed some food in my diet. It was particilarly lactose, sugar, coffe, soya, and everything with yeast, including bread.

My experience as i have followed this forum for a while is that altering the diet is first step for many to getting better.
Although it seems like different alterations affects different people though...

I have food intolerance issues - well not just food, herbs, supplements. Over time I have been able to work out which ones give me diarrhea, which ones give me stomach pain.
For a long time I thought my stomach pain was caused by H. Pyklori but I test negative for it - but when I stopped taking zinc and milk thistle it was gone. I still feel I need to take zinc but I take it in smaller amounts and when I do take it I take slippery elm at the same time and have no issues with stomach pain.
All the good stuff I like got eliminated over time and I never get diarrhea unless I want it because I feel a bit constipated - summer fruits give me rums - papaya, banana, passionfruit and figs. Line then all up and eat them for breakfast and I cant trust myself to leave the house.
The trick is to mix it up and keep a food diary until you figure out what is agreeing with you and what isn't.
Food intolerances are they say traced back to leaky gut syndrome, thus the stomach pain and irritable bowel syndrome ...diarrhea. So treating the gut with collagen, good probiotics and being as stress free is the ultimate solution. Haven't got there myself but I am giving it my best.
Hope this helps and good luck

I flushed my gut with some senna tea and fiber and then yesterday had a lot of probiotics and 2 tsp of nanosilver and haven’t had an issue since. My husband thinks I just had a bug and actually recommended the silver. I haven’t had one diarrhea instance today. I think we’re on the right path. I’ve been living on gluten free toast with butter and jam also.

One of the best working remedies for the stomach i have found out is eating chlorella pills. It apparently works as a binder too so its a double-win...smile

I will have to get on the Chlorella. I heard that one is amazing and unfortunately the diarrhea came back tonight. Apparently I got to try and do the silver for the next week or so probiotics. Gut stuff is no picnic!

Just an fyi - If you have mercury amalgam fillings it’s not recommended to take the chlorella.
