Awesome, thanks. I ordered the salvia miltiorrhiza for nerves and lions mane for immunomodulation on your recs. Will add serrapeptatse. Gou Teng is another name for chinese cats claw right? I'm trying not to add TOO many things as my regimen is growing:

Cats Claw
Andrographis
Chinese SkullCap
Cordyceps
Lions Mane
Red Sage (salvia miltiorrhiza)
and now Serrapeptase

dcd2103,

Yup Gou Teng is Chinese Cat's claw, is Uncaria Rhynchophylla.

Yup Eleuthero (Siberian Ginseng) is for immune modulation too but you've got that covered.

Best of luck friend!

From chapter 8 of the 2nd edition, core protocol:

Under "collagen protection" you're missing:
Great Lakes gelatin powder
Vitamin C
Selenium (I never took this)

Under "immune remodulation" you're missing:
Cat's Claw (as you know)
Eleuthero (as you know)
Ashwagandha
Licorice (considered a synergistic herb, potentiating actions of many other herbs in protocol)

Under "neuroborreliosis":
Gou Teng/Chinese Cat's Claw (as has been mentioned)

The expanded protocol/repertory lists many more herbs and supps for neuroborreliosis. Ashwagandha is mentioned again here for "remyelination of neurons" along with boneset tea.

I think what you've already come up with is a great start, but definitely consider addind Gou Teng and Ashwagandha at some point...

I think you all know this - sertapeptase needs to be taken on empty stomach or it acts like a digestive enzyme.

And since it’s a biofilm buster - you could feel worse -best to take it with something that will take care of what’s inside those biofilms.

There may be other benefits to taking serrapeptase, but i agree with Girlie.

I wouldn't mess with serrapeptase until I'd been treating for a while and gotten myself pretty stable.

Personally it never did anything for me though. I took it while on herbs at times and while on abx. Didn't notice much whenever I introduced it, and still had relapses when ending treatments. I used Doctor Best brand (maybe that's just a bad one)

I never noticed anything - good or bad when I was on the serrapeptase.
