A doctor told us how you can control your bowels with magnesium or Vit. C. As mentioned above, Magnesium Citrate is known to help with constipation. The Vit. C I use is Nutribiotic Buffered Sodium Ascorbate powder.
Doctor said you can gradually build up the C or Mag until your bowels are loose, then back off a little on dose. If bowels harden, up your dose. If bowels loosen, decrease your dose. Adjust as needed.
If you do use Vit. C in high doses, be sure to use buffered to try to avoid stomach upset!
