I was on the Marshall Protocol for two years. While I can't say much for the Marshall Protocol itself, I do feel they are on to something when it comes to vitamin D supplements and maybe avoiding light, I don't know. Avoiding light made it much easier for me to sleep, and I started to feel somewhat better.
When I started taking vitamin D again, I felt much worse, and my blood levels actually went down. Now I just like to go outside and get some sunshine for my vitamin D.
Hmm..well.....lack of sunlight releases melatonine, the sleep hormone.
Did you ever suppliment melatonine to see if it helps you sleep? Oddly, the supplement doesn't work for everyone.
