IVIG has helped my neuropathy. I had migraines joint pain anxiety fatigue and limb pain since 2013. In April 2019 neuropathy started. Came on hard and fast, by summer i was bed ridden. So much pain i literally couldnt have a sheet touch my hands and feet. As you can see my pain has gone from a 9 avg to a 5. I get days where its a 2 or a 3, then days its spikes to a 7 or 8. But its no longer a 9 EVERY day. I hope it keeps improving, because even with this improvement its still not good enough, this is no life.
My limb pain and energy levels are somewhat better. My gut is still screwed up, still have SIBO/diarrhea. Trying to fix that w/ this herbalist, hoping that makes a big improvement by decreasing inflammation. Stopped the Bicillin, it made me worse, I got something called Serum Sickness from it (not everything is a herx, and i'm glad i finally called my dr because I let it go for 5 weeks assuming I was herxing). We're going to switch to Plaquenil and Biaxin. So hoping between the IVIG, the herbs to calm my immune system and fix my gut, and keeping any residual lyme at bay w/ aforementioned ABX I should keep improving.
Here is a chart of the running 15 day average (so you can see the trend better) of my nerve/limb pain. You can see the IVIG clearly helped. Its an old pic that doesnt have December in it, so you cant see the spike from the Bicillin.
What symptoms do you have? Do you have neuropathy? Also, how do you know its not just an autoimmune issue from the start and you never had lyme, esp if "killing things" doesnt help? I ask myself that all the time.
