I used to be able to cycle a reasonable amount before last year. I used to ride maybe an hour a day, maybe 15 miles or something like that. Never really felt too tired afterwards. Stuff like press ups etc was far more taxing though, though I did it regularly too.
I think a few things to consider are the CNS takes a while to recover, lyme already wears it down. All of those nerves firing off takes a while for everything to recover. Also there's the waste products that are produced when our muscles contract and such, especially working out. Heck I think maybe ammonia might be an issue too.CNS fatigue

What was/is your sport? I've always liked cycling, wish I could do more sportives and stuff. That and I actually really like calisthenics, gymnastic rings are really fun.
