Now, excuse me for being that guy but it looks like things are on their way out. I know that New York City hit 6000+ today, but that's no surprise, nor is the other 8000 throughout the rest of the state.
Following the bell curve, which is clearly visible in China's stats, as well as all the other countries that have faired better with it. It looks like the UK is on it's way to the worst of the worst. It seems like we're heading to the top of the curve soon.

The average Joe doesn't know squat about
numbers so the media of course can stir up a fuss. Anyone who's done at least some learning on statistics and distributions etc can comment on things within reason.
They've come to similar conclusions I came to over the past week, so here's hoping by the end of April, things start relaxing. We're already on the 6 week trajectory now in most countries so it's gonna get better soon. The media have done more damage than this virus will have done by the way things are looking.
Numbers do not lie, just remember that.
