I currently taking cefixime and tinidazole and doxyxycline. I didnt tolerate it at first, so i started with lower doses and always took the antibiotics with food. To help sleep i started to take a low dose benzo at first for one year more or less, oxazepam, wish helped me to minimize the symptoms. After a year i could replace oxazepam with gabapentin, wish is a med you also may try to help you sleep and minimize your symptoms. Sometimes i take Pregabalin too, when gabapentin is not enough, both are meds not associated with addiction, but they must be discontinued slowly, but for now i we need them, we take them. Now i am taking higher doses of antibiotics and the infection is still trying to resist, but i will not give up and fight it. The marks always appear when i take the antibiotics, its an evidence that the infection is dying. So everytime you take antibiotics and see the marks, feel hope, because it means you are killing it, but the infection dies slowly because its a chronic infection. The antibiotics i take dont cause insomnia and are very good to take. Dont hesitate in asking anything, hope we can help.
