I assumed it was part of Lyme's habitual assault on collagen
SaraEli yes! I'm listening to Buhner's Healing Lyme audiobook about
half-way through and he goes on about
collagen being very important to these parasites. I have sometimes oddly long lasting imprints from bed sheets or clothing and I've heard that this is collagen loss.
My goodness running wild your post is making me speechless because the random hair loss was one symptom I could never understand. I have random hair loss on my legs, the majority of my right calf is completely missing now, and another piece on my ankle. And another piece on my other ankle. Then I also have a random spot of hairloss on my head that isn't due to family genetics.
I do have other skin symptoms. I have red spots sometimes. Tiny red dots.
And RainyCloud, I have this almost exact same hair loss thing, on side of my left calf hair is missing and right calf also.
And the tiny red dots, I have those on the back of my arms, I think they are called petechiae but not sure as I can't tell if they change color when I press them.
So running wild, I'm thinking since I was reactive to 58+ band on two different Western blot tests (one Quest and the other IgeneX) that could be the European strain, or it's thought to be.
I hear you about
not being able to get on the Bicillin again. I'm a bit wary of taking some expired antibiotics now, as it might affect my organs like your kidneys. I'll probably just do Buhner's again since I have a good supply of those.
