I hope some of you might be able to help me as this is all new to me. I have been dealing with a myriad of symptoms since 2014, it started with chronic sinus infections and now is accompanied by fatigue, rashes/severe eczema brain fog, joint pain etc..
I went so several doctors Over the years telling me I’m fine, I’m healthy, eat clean and workout. Well anyways fast forward to 2020 and I went to see a functional doctor who unbeknownst to me is also a Lyme specialist. He explained Lyme to me and said he’d like to test me based on my symptoms.
I received my results from MDL and he basically told me they are inconclusive and cannot provide a hard dx of Lyme.
Would any of you be able to assist me with what these results mean? I apologize as it’s all still new to me and he didn’t get too in detail about the labs and if it could potentially be Lyme? I just am
trying to get to the underlying root of all
my health issues as I used to be such a healthy active person and since 2014 my life has changed drastically as I’m sure many of you can relate.
Here are the results from Medical Diagnostics Labs:
IGG Immunoblot Bands thats were (+)
66 41 28 18
IGM Western Blot
29 (the only one)
However on the Western Blot I have several fainter lines for 41 39 34 31 & 23
The lines just aren’t super dark where it confirmed a detection of those bands? (That’s how the Dr explained it to me which why he said it’s equivocal as of right now)
I don't understand why people keep bringing up mold. You have several positive Lyme bands AND symptoms. You need a good LLMD. Any decent LLMD would consider that to be a positive Lyme diagnosis.
