It's been a long time since I've been on here. My Lyme, Babesia and Bartonella have always been mild and manageable.
To recap, I got diagnosed with Lyme Disease in 2013 I believe? I can't even remember. I did a year of antibiotics, then about 6 months of natural supplements (Monastery of Herbs), my symptoms leveled out and I have been able to live a normal, active life without any form of treatment after that besides healthy eating, exercise and a daily vitamin.
However, the last 2 months, I've had a new symptom creep up. I'm also not sure if it's related to Lyme. I've had hand tremors even before being diagnosed "officially" with Lyme. I always also have a starving sensation in my stomach. This seems in line with the tremors, I assumed it was low blood sugar, I would eat a candy bar and it would get a bit better.
Years later, like literally 10 years later now, I still have this starving feeling in my gut, my hand tremors never went away, and NOW my arms and my legs have tremors. I notice the leg tremors the most when I'm surfing.
My hands and feet have also started feeling like they are asleep at all times.
So, to be clear, my hand tremors and starving feeling DID NOT go away with Lyme treatment. It's just always something I lived with. I;ve seen a few doctors about it that never seemed concerned or dove deeper into figuring out what it is. However, even eating candy now, taking glucose, anything I try is not helping it anymore and the tremors are worse.
Obviously, it could be Lyme and I'm wondering if anyone else has had these symptoms?
I'm worried about 2 things...diabetes and Parkinson's disease. Both run heavily on my dad's side of the family. I am 33, so young for Parkinson's but I do know there are rare early onset cases.
ALSO, if this is Lyme, I really need a LLMD in Southern California. I've lived out here for 5.5 years now and haven't been to any Lyme doctors. If anyone knows of any (that are affordable), I would really appreciate it.
