Anyone else have this?
Most of the time my throat feels totally normal, but if I do something that irritates it, then it stays sore for a long time. It looks slightly red all the time and has what a doctor once told me is called "cobblestoning" meaning the back of it has an uneven surface. My glands look normal, no spots or growths or coatings or sores. But if I, for example, swallow something "down the wrong pipe" and need to cough strongly for a minute or so, then I'm going to have a very sore throat the next day. The tissues are easily irritated. Other areas of the body with similar tissues (mouth, eyes, nose, and undercarriage) are 100% normal and fine and not sensitive at all, ever. The last time I had a cold, I felt like my throat was on fire, but it was only very slightly red. Weird!
Any ideas for me?
